Attorney Terrence R. Nealon, Jr. is a partner with the law firm of McDonald & MacGregor, LLC, where he has practiced since January 2020.
Mr. Nealon focuses his practice on matters dealing with workers’ compensation, motor vehicle collisions, premises liability, and personal injury. As part of his practice, he has argued cases across the Commonwealth, regularly appearing before judges of the Courts of Common Pleas, Workers’ Compensation Judges, the Workers’ Compensation Appeal Board, the Superior Court of Pennsylvania, and the Commonwealth Court of Pennsylvania.
Mr. Nealon is admitted to practice in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the United States District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania.
Mr. Nealon is a member of the Pennsylvania Association for Justice, where he presently serves on the Board of Governors, the Amicus Curiae Committee, and is the past Chair of the Workers’ Compensation Section. Additionally, Mr. Nealon is a member of the Northeastern Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers Association, where he presently serves on the Board of Directors.
Mr. Nealon is also a member of the Lackawanna Bar Association, where he presently serves on its Board of Directors. Mr. Nealon also serves as Secretary of the Middle District Chapter of the Federal Bar Association.
Mr. Nealon has been selected by his peers for inclusion in multiple editions of The Best Lawyers in America for his work in the area of plaintiff personal injury litigation, as well as his work in claimant workers’ compensation law. Mr. Nealon has also been selected as a Pennsylvania Rising Star by Super Lawyers magazine, and has been named to the Top 40 Under 40 civil plaintiff trial lawyers in Pennsylvania by the National Trial Lawyers.
In 2019, Mr. Nealon was appointed by the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania to the Pennsylvania Civil Procedural Rules Committee, and served in that capacity from 2019-2022.
Mr. Nealon is active in the community, serving on the Board of Directors of the Northeastern Pennsylvania Healthcare Foundation, the Alumni Board of Governors for Scranton Preparatory School, and the Board of Trustees for the Everhart Museum. He has previously served as an elected officer for the Friendly Sons of Saint Patrick of Lackawanna County, and is the current Vice President of the Society.
Mr. Nealon additionally serves his community as a member of Borough Council for the Borough of Clarks Green, where he presently serves as Vice President.
Mr. Nealon is a graduate of the Villanova University School of Law, where he received his Juris Doctor in 2011. He completed his undergraduate studies at Villanova University, where he graduated cum laude in 2008.
Mr. Nealon resides in Clarks Green with his wife, Mary Elizabeth, and two daughters, Genevieve and Caroline.
